A view of the Higgins Branch Road bridges as seen from Higgins Branch Road itself. The superelevation on the bridges is obvious from this photo, and the concrete slope protection underneath the structures can be seen too. Just behind the flatbed truck can be seen the North Main Street relocation; it will connect to Higgins Branch Road and provide northern access to Mars Hill and US 23 by passing under these bridges. Relocated Jarvis Road will connect to Higgins Branch Road on the left side near the construction vehicle. Photo taken in November 1998.
