A small slope failure at the top of the Buckner Gap cut. This failure occurred because the soil slope was too steep to hold the soil, and it gave way as a result. The slope will be flattened in this area to prevent further failures. This soil slope is about 100' high and the flattened area at the bottom is where the rock cut slopes should begin. Photo taken in February 1999.
