The upstream portion of relocated Bear Branch. The pipe arch in the background carries Fox Road over the stream and is the beginning of the stream relocation. The stream has two channels; a low flow channel that meanders through the wider, flood stage channel. The wide channel banks can be seen to the far right and left of this picture and are about 20'-30' apart. Rootwads and boulders are placed along both the low flow channel and the flood stage channel to protect the banks and create new habitat for fish and water dwelling animals. This section has been constructed for over a year and a half now and trout have already been found in it. Taken in February 1999.
