Jarvis Road had to be relocated down to Higgins Branch Road in order to avoid building a 90' high bridge over the secondary road. The relocation is about a mile long and winds alongside the interstate. The gravel is the beginning of the construction that will eventually build this new road. The interstate will continue up on a 6% grade, while the secondary road will remain near the existing ground. Photo taken in October 1999.
