One of the channel relocations on the A-10C project. This one is
for Jarvis Creek, down near the southern end of the project. The center
of the relocation is a low flow channel, which will contain the stream
in a meandering flow during normal flow conditions. When heavy rains cause
the stream to rise, then the higher channel will contain the runoff without
damaging the surrounding area. Large boulders and rootwads will be used
to help the stream construct habitat for fish and other stream dwellers
once the channel has water redirected into it.
