Now you can see three of the Laurel Creek Bridge columns rising toward the final grade of the interstate. The largest column is complete and the cap that will support the deck is being formed. The one on the left is about 2/3 done, while the one on the right is just barely visible through the trees. The grade runs upward from left to right in this picture at a 5% slope, taken in November 1999.
