The cut on the right of Buckner Gap isn't as high, but the slope is steeper on a 0.5:1 ratio. This rock cut is down about 50' so far, with about another 150' to go. Barely visible along the base of the rock cut are some tubes sticking out of the rock. They are the liners for the presplit blast holes so the explosive doesn't leak into any cracks or voids in the rock. This whole ledge will be blasted off in the next explosion.
