Looking south along the Laurel Creek Bridge. Most of the steel beams are in place; only the last two spans are left to be installed. The cut south of the bridge is where the Bear Branch Road interchange will be located. Note the snow; driving on this road in the winter may be an adventure all by itself. At least the bridge should be safe; a deicing system is being designed to add to the bridge deck. Photo taken in March 2001.
