The road on the right is part of Jarvis Road that was relocated earlier in the project. I-26 will be on the top of the embankment on the left. The boulders in the ditch are the result of material being knocked off the top of the slope and rolling down and getting caught in the ditch. Some of these rocks are large, over 3' in diameter, as well as stumps. One of the boulders made it across Jarvis Road and dented the guardrail on the far right. Hopefully the contractor will be more careful in the future. Photo taken in March 2001.
