Impressive view of the Cut #5 on this project, along with Ramp D and the Bear Branch Road bridge. Note the big 200 ton trucks with their beds raised; they are being used to spread the aggregate on the roadway throughout the whole project. Compare their size with the depth of the cut behind them. This interchange looks like an enlongated urban diamond due to the sharp curvature of the interstate, which required stretching out all four ramps. Photo taken in June 2001.
