The reinforcing steel on the Laurel Creek Bridge. It is green because the upper layer of steel is epoxy coated to help prevent corrosion if a crack develops in the concrete. The steel for the bridge rail can be seen on the left of the photo. The wood rail is a temporary construction to keep workers from falling off the 220' high bridge. Photo taken in June 2001.
