This photo shows some of the aggregate from the top of the project that has washed down the fill slope after one of the very heavy rainfall events in July. Erosion control devices are normally supposed to prevent this from happening, since water strong enough to wash aggregate off the project is also powerful enough to seriously erode the embankment slope. Photo taken in August 2001.
