of Buckner Gap. A cut of over 380' will be made there to pass the
interstate
through the mountain. The cleared mountain in the center of the
photo will
have a cut of over 400' in it as well. The alignment of the project
curves
off the left of the photo, then swings right through the background to
Buckner Gap. The foreground shows some of the four million cubic yards
of undercut material being removed.
