This is the typical section for the portion of A-10 that has an all-asphalt pavement design. This typical is only used between the US 19 and Higgins Branch Road bridges on the south end of the project, where the grade is very flat. There is no aggregate base on this portion either, due to a different soil condition that required direct stabilization. A similar pavement design is used north of the US 23 bridge near the TN state line, but the median width is 22'.
