Relocated Jarvis Road as it climbs up and over a hill. Note the finished cut slope already seeded with grass beginning to grow on it. Jarvis Road was relocated south to Higgins Branch Road to eliminate a 90' high grade separation structure on I-26 that would have been needed to keep Jarvis Road in its current location. The I-26 alignment will be on the left of the picture, but about 60' higher than the Jarvis Road relocation. The young woman in the picture is manning a traffic control sign warning motorists on the existing road of the presence of construction vehicles as they approach the secondary road.
