Nearly completed bridges at the US 19/I-26 interchange. These bridges are being constructed on the project from NC 213 in Mars Hill to US 19, which was not my project. However, I'll be responsible for the paving and final construction north of these bridges. US 19 will connect to I- 26 with a "trumpet" interchange, and the paving has already begun as shown in the picture. Behind the bridges can be seen the ramps curving south toward Mars Hill, and a ramp will lead up to I-26 from US 19 to the right. Photo taken in August 1998.
